PocketGeni helps you record personal and business income and expenses. This page explains the information involved when you use the service.

Information you provide

You may enter transaction details, notes, and receipt or invoice photos. If you sign in, your account may include your name and email address. If you buy a plan or credits, payment information is handled by Stripe.

How information is used

Information is used to provide your account, save and show your records, process purchases, and perform features you request. When you use an AI scan, a photo or recognized text and notes may be sent to an AI provider for processing. Review scan results before saving them.

Where information is stored

Private notebooks are stored on your device. Signed-in cloud notebooks use the account service and Cloudflare storage. People you invite to a shared notebook can access records according to their permissions. Clearing browser or device data may remove local records; keep a backup where available.

Service providers

PocketGeni uses Cloudflare for cloud services, identity providers for sign-in, AI providers for requested AI features, and Stripe for payments. The provider used for scanning can change. These services process information as needed to provide their features.

Deleting and exporting

You can export transaction records from the app. The account settings also offer account deletion. Account deletion removes account records and initiates deletion of cloud photos; payment providers may retain transaction history. Deleting a record or notebook does not necessarily immediately delete its stored photo. Local copies and backups need to be managed separately.

Access, correction, and questions

You can review and edit records in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Contact details and the process for making a request are to be confirmed before this policy is published.

Retention and international processing

Retention periods, provider locations, international transfers, and any additional legal disclosures are being reviewed. Do not treat this draft as the final policy.
